Lydia Turned 2!!!

Since her birthday was on Sunday, we celebrated on Saturday and took her to Funderland.  It was really fun and the girls were so cute.

I flippin love that face :)
 Haha- she's a goof too.
We let them ride this by themselves and when they came around the corner Lydia looks like she really wants it to go faster while Ava is lounging and enjoying the ride.
Another angle, just look at Ava, it cracks me up how she's sitting.
Teacups.  I rode most of the rides with them, which is why I'm in all the pictures, Blayne and his parents were there too.

We also took the girls on pony rides.  When Ava tells about hers she has to tell about how it stopped to go potty.  Oh man did it ever, it was a big one, haha.
Lydia LOVED it too- she kept petting it saying, "Hey buddy".
Story of my life, chasing Lydia around.
I just thought Lydia looked so pretty in this picture.  Doesn't she?
Her on her little quad that we got her.  Can't wait until we have more space for her to ride it around.

Lydia loves bubbles so grandma and grandpa got her a bubble machine, they were so funny running and popping all of them.

We had a lot of fun that day, the girls were being really cute and funny.  It was a lot of fun having Blayne's parents there too, we love when they come and visit.  Everything's good with us, Blayne's been working a lot and I've been swimming with the girls a lot and reading.  Ava just got through with a session of swimming lessons- that girl is pretty scared of the water, but she came a long way and is getting better.  She is TERRIFIED to jump in a pool, even with floaties on and me there to catch her.  She says, "I'll do it when I turn 8."  It's pretty funny, I'm not sure where she got that.  Lydia's really starting to talk a lot more and as crazy as she is, she's also very sweet.  She loves to snuggle and I LOVE watching her and Ava play together, they're finally getting to an age where they can play really good for a while.

Lake Tahoe

So, Blayne's parents came down for a visit a couple weeks ago and we went to Tahoe for a day, I love it there!  Unfortunately, we were sick the whole time, like bad.  They were troopers and I hope ended up having fun.
Don't judge these pictures, I know I look sick, because I really, really was!!!  Me and Lydia had pink eye, so I couldn't wear my contacts, which is why I'm wearing glasses (ugh), and we were having to put in eye drops 4 times a day.  Ever tried putting in eye drops for a little monster that's not even 2 yet??  Yeah, not fun, plus she was also on antibiotics for an ear infection twice a day.  She was such a trooper though, and she actually loves medicine, whenever I gave her her antibiotics she'd ask for more, haha.
The girls playing in the sand.  By the way, this sand is way different than Oregon Coast sand, this sand kind of sucked.  It was weird.

 Poor Lydia :(
It sure was BEAUTIFUL there though!!
At least she's happy here- we all actually had a lot of fun that day, in spite of the sickness.

Ava was making a "cake" for her friends.  Doesn't it look delish?!
 Daddy and Ava.
P.S. My husband's hot.
Oreo and sand in her teeth, awesome.
Like I said, I know I look gross, but everyone else looked pretty good in this picture.

Pictures Galore!

Precious Miss Ava in her $3 Old Navy dress that I love!

Lydia looking so old.
Dying Easter eggs on Easter morning.
I didn't get a very good picture of them in their Easter dresses, we were running a little late for church that morning :(
We went to our friend Dez's house for Dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was delicious and fun!!
Lydia gave up on the hunt and decided to mow the lawn instead- I'm pretty sure Ava hit the jackpot and took all the eggs out of Lydia's basket when she walked away.
They were playing a game on the computer, before you go judging me, it was a learning game. Lydia really likes the music on it, so Ava wanted her to sit on her lap while she played it.
Amy and Kallie and all their little kiddos came for a short visit- we MISS them SO much!!! Ava loved having her cousins come and of course I loved having my sisters here. I wish we got to see them more, hint hint. This is Kallie's oldest- Owen. So funny, he likes to growl words at you all the time and then he tries to make a serious face, but you can tell he's trying not to laugh- I was cracking up!!!
So I had taken a picture of Jackson and he came up and told me to trash it and get a picture of his "good side" and when I aimed the camera at him, this is what I got. He's such and awesome kid- and look how dang old he is!!!!
Ava and Dutch- they play so good together. I'm pretty sure almost every time they're together I barely see either of them all day because they're just off playing the whole time.
I just really like this picture of Lydia :)
Hahaha- what a dork!
We went to San Fran while they were here and went to the aquarium, it was pretty cool and the kids really liked it. They got to see sharks, and I think Jackson got to touch one, Ava was sad because she wasn't tall enough and couldn't reach it.
Kallie and Owen.
Almost the whole gang. Jett, Dutch, Amy, Jackson, Kallie, Reese, and Ava. I'm pretty sure Lydia was crying in the stroller off to the side, what a pill!!
Eating our yummy treats. Mmmmm... cotton candy.
Ava loved it so much, she was hugging it (dork).
Owen eating his churro.
Hahaha, Dutch made such a mess, I was glad I didn't have to clean it up, that stuff was dang sticky!

Kallie's little baby Reese, although I guess she's not really a baby anymore, she's walking all around- crazy!

Jett eating his churro, he is such a happy little sweety, love him!

St. Patty's Day

This was the leprechaun trap we made, the bait was Lucky Charms and when we woke up in the morning the cloud cup had fallen and there was a bunch of gold under it (chocolate gold, the best kind ;)) Ava loved it.

Lydia was wearing the leprechaun hat that Ava made at preschool.
This is my friend Dez, Ava, and I all wearing our St. Patrick's Day shirts. Can you tell we went shopping together?
This was our cool St. Patty's Day lunch. You can't tell, but the pudding is rainbow.
My cool rainbow fruit platter.
Look- I got Lydia's hair in a pony tail, well kind of, it didn't stay in very long.

Well, we had a great St. Patrick's Day. We had a special lunch and made leprechaun traps and played with some friends. We also went to a parade down in Old Sac, it was a lot of fun. Sorry, the pictures aren't in order, I just don't like to sit and figure out how to switch them and all that good stuff. Things here are going great. I'm mad because we totally forgot to bring a camera to the parade. There was this totally obnoxious lady who kept yelling everything that popped in her annoying head, she was driving me NUTS!!!

The girls are cracking me up lately (along with driving me nuts, haha). The other day I asked Ava if she wanted me to bring some fruit to the mall with us for a snack and she said, "I don't care mom, you can do whatever you want to". She just sounds so adult sometimes, it's a little scary. Lydia's finally starting to talk more, which is funny, she's just a little sassy pants. She hasn't learned the word "yes" yet, she's got "no" down, but when you ask her something and the answer is "yes" she just stays silent and sometimes smiles.

Whatevs, I Suck

So, ignore the fact that I have no flipping idea how to fix the top picture to make it centered and it's kinda driving me nuts, unfortunately I am REALLY sick of trying to mess around with it. Sorry, I am so dumb with computers.

So we've moved back down to Cali, and I'm not going to lie, I love it!!! The weather sucked today, but for the most part it's been PERFECT!!! Ava's loving playing with her friends
and I'm loving getting out of my darn house (by house, I mean apartment, for now anyway) almost every day. It's pretty dang awesome. I wish I would get some visitors up in here though! I've also been reading a TON, and loving that. Thanks to Amy, I've had some great recommendations, and I have a lot on my list to read. Blayne and I have also been watching a lot of Supernatural- hello, hot guys fighting demons, awesome. Anyway, that's what's going on here.

One last thing, here's a picture to prove that I don't always look like a homeless person, occasionally I actually do my hair and get ready. Not that you can really tell since most of my hair's covered, but WHATEVER!
