Catching up on all the randomness... and some news!

I know we've already lived here for like 5 months, but we're finally getting around to decorating, we're slow alright?

Me and a couple of friends got together and made these blocks a couple of weeks ago, my friend drew the snow flakes, like I could do anything without a stencil.
We also got some family pictures taken a couple of weeks ago, I'll post some of those later.
We started getting festive, I like our little tree, it just makes me really happy! I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the bows on the fireplace are not the same, Blayne grabbed 2 $1.00 bows, and they were different, it makes me laugh every time I look at them!!
Oh hey- by the way- I'M PREGGERS!!!! That's part of why I haven't blogged in SO long, I've been pretty useless! I got really sick, but I'm doing better and I went to the doctor last week and everything is going really good. I don't know if you can tell because this is a picture of the picture from the ultrasound, but you can see the little legs sticking out, and kind of the arms, not bad for only being about 10 weeks along. The doctor was really happy that we could get such good pictures so early and this little baby was moving all around, it was pretty cool!!
We got Ava these princess pajamas a while ago, she gets SO excited everytime she wears them, she just feels so pretty in them, she's posing for the camera in this picture, little doofus- hahaha!!!
Blayne's mom came to help when I was sick- she was a LIFE SAVER!!!!! Her and Blayne took Ava to feed the ducks one day, Ava LOVES feeding the ducks!!!
Here are some belated Halloween pics, I can't believe it's been that long since I've posted!! She was a fairy, she looked SO cute!! She actually made me put her costume on her today after church, she really likes it.

This is her and her friend Zeke, he was an Oregon Duck- his shirt had a big "O" on the front, he looked AWESOME!!! His mom made his costume, I was SO impressed!!
We also got to take Ava to the pumpkin patch, she couldn't stay away from the waggon, we didn't even get any pumpkins, but she pushed that wagon all around.

Vacation to Lake Tahoe

After Blayne's busy season he got to take a couple days off, so we went to Reno and Lake Tahoe- it was nice to get away as a family and spend some time together. Reno was kind of lame, but Lake Tahoe was GREAT, we REALLY want to go back.
This was in our hotel room (please ignore how disgustingly white my legs are).
Ava oinked out on raisins, she just sat on the floor and went to town, she ate SO many!
My little girl who is terrified of going past the first step in the pool, and HATES getting water on her face, was really brave at Lake Tahoe. She just kept walking, it stayed shallow for a long way out, but still, it was a big step for her. She was sitting down in it, and dipping her face in the water, we were getting in little splashing fights- it was great!

The water was SO clear- we could see right through the water everywhere that we were, it was gorgeous.

video

This is a goofy little video, it was just on our regular camera so there was no sound, but Ava was dancing in the water. There was no music, but she was sure getting into it. It was so cute.

Ava's Birthday Continued...

Sacramento has a weekend called "Old Days" which takes place in Old Sacramento. One of the many activities they have, among the staged gun fights, stagecoaches, and plethera of other cool old stuff, is pony rides for kids. Ava LOVED riding the pony and even asked today to, "ride pony?"

This is her new Radio Flyer bike.
This is a table and chairs for Ava to develop her artsy talents (only to a certain limit, hahaha). Me and Blayne's mom colored it. Isn't it cute?
We went out to eat while Blayne's parents were in town and outside the restaurant there was a fountain - Ava freakin' loves fountains! She threw a fit when we had to leave and Blayne had to chase her all around the fountain - which inevitably turned into a game and laugh for Ava and onlookers.
Ava got a crown for her birthday, she can sing I Am A Child of God and America the Beautiful, but can't put a crown on her head. What a goober.
Here is Ava with Grandma and Grandpa Lowary (and a beaver) - sporting their 'LOWARY' shirts. We had a LOT of fun while they were here!

Ava's Birthday Party

OK Lonely in Eugene- A.K.A GRANDPA- and Denitzu- here is an updated post, happy? We had a Birthday party for Ava a couple weeks ago and invited some girls from my ward that we hang out with, and a girl from our apartment complex. Plus Blayne's parents were here, so it was REALLY fun!!!

We had it out at the pool at our apartment and we decorated it and had lunch and cake for everyone. We had a really good turnout so I was pretty happy, and Ava had a blast!!

Just so you know...

I'm trying to do a post, but it isn't working when I try to upload the pictures,
SO, post coming soon- sorry about it!

So I don't know if any of you guys watch Big Brother or not, but if you don't, you really should, it's AWESOME!!!! Anyway, I just watched tonight's episode, and seriously??? Some of these people are the winiest bunch of idiots on earth. I just want to ask them if they remember that they are on TV, do you know that America is watching and you are making yourself look like an idiot???!!! Anyway, I love Jeff, he has been my favorite from the very first episode and I'm SOOOO glad that that side of the house has the power, plus, I really like him and Jordan. Anyway, that's all I have to say. And, for your enjoyment, here is a picture of Jeff, because well, he's HOT!!!!

So, I know I am a TERRIBLE blogger, sorry about that. Here's one of my very favorite pictures of Ava ever, it cracks me up- I found her like this when I went to go get her out of her crib in the morning. By the way, she had pants on, and her shirt was on correctly when I put her to bed, crazy kid.

We've been having a crazy time here in California, Ava has been growing and getting a little too smart, she has put me in several time outs and she also really likes to tell me "Just a minute" when I ask her to do something. Also, today she started saying "What?" with an attitude when I say her name to get her attention. Man, sometimes it is SO hard not to laugh at your kids, even when they're doing something bratty. I've been reading a LOT since we moved here, but we've also been making some new friends. It's been fun, but the weather is REALLY HOT!!! Anyway, that's what's going on around here, I do have some pictures from our last trip to Oregon, but I haven't put them on the computer yet, I'll get to it someday.
