This was the leprechaun trap we made, the bait was Lucky Charms and when we woke up in the morning the cloud cup had fallen and there was a bunch of gold under it (chocolate gold, the best kind ;)) Ava loved it.
Lydia was wearing the leprechaun hat that Ava made at preschool.
This is my friend Dez, Ava, and I all wearing our St. Patrick's Day shirts. Can you tell we went shopping together?
This was our cool St. Patty's Day lunch. You can't tell, but the pudding is rainbow.
My cool rainbow fruit platter.
Look- I got Lydia's hair in a pony tail, well kind of, it didn't stay in very long.
Well, we had a great St. Patrick's Day. We had a special lunch and made leprechaun traps and played with some friends. We also went to a parade down in Old Sac, it was a lot of fun. Sorry, the pictures aren't in order, I just don't like to sit and figure out how to switch them and all that good stuff. Things here are going great. I'm mad because we totally forgot to bring a camera to the parade. There was this totally obnoxious lady who kept yelling everything that popped in her annoying head, she was driving me NUTS!!!
The girls are cracking me up lately (along with driving me nuts, haha). The other day I asked Ava if she wanted me to bring some fruit to the mall with us for a snack and she said, "I don't care mom, you can do whatever you want to". She just sounds so adult sometimes, it's a little scary. Lydia's finally starting to talk more, which is funny, she's just a little sassy pants. She hasn't learned the word "yes" yet, she's got "no" down, but when you ask her something and the answer is "yes" she just stays silent and sometimes smiles.
