Ava's Birthday Continued...

Sacramento has a weekend called "Old Days" which takes place in Old Sacramento. One of the many activities they have, among the staged gun fights, stagecoaches, and plethera of other cool old stuff, is pony rides for kids. Ava LOVED riding the pony and even asked today to, "ride pony?"

This is her new Radio Flyer bike.
This is a table and chairs for Ava to develop her artsy talents (only to a certain limit, hahaha). Me and Blayne's mom colored it. Isn't it cute?
We went out to eat while Blayne's parents were in town and outside the restaurant there was a fountain - Ava freakin' loves fountains! She threw a fit when we had to leave and Blayne had to chase her all around the fountain - which inevitably turned into a game and laugh for Ava and onlookers.
Ava got a crown for her birthday, she can sing I Am A Child of God and America the Beautiful, but can't put a crown on her head. What a goober.
Here is Ava with Grandma and Grandpa Lowary (and a beaver) - sporting their 'LOWARY' shirts. We had a LOT of fun while they were here!

Ava's Birthday Party

OK Lonely in Eugene- A.K.A GRANDPA- and Denitzu- here is an updated post, happy? We had a Birthday party for Ava a couple weeks ago and invited some girls from my ward that we hang out with, and a girl from our apartment complex. Plus Blayne's parents were here, so it was REALLY fun!!!

We had it out at the pool at our apartment and we decorated it and had lunch and cake for everyone. We had a really good turnout so I was pretty happy, and Ava had a blast!!

Just so you know...

I'm trying to do a post, but it isn't working when I try to upload the pictures,
SO, post coming soon- sorry about it!

Are You Serious?????!!!!!!

So I don't know if any of you guys watch Big Brother or not, but if you don't, you really should, it's AWESOME!!!! Anyway, I just watched tonight's episode, and seriously??? Some of these people are the winiest bunch of idiots on earth. I just want to ask them if they remember that they are on TV, do you know that America is watching and you are making yourself look like an idiot???!!! Anyway, I love Jeff, he has been my favorite from the very first episode and I'm SOOOO glad that that side of the house has the power, plus, I really like him and Jordan. Anyway, that's all I have to say. And, for your enjoyment, here is a picture of Jeff, because well, he's HOT!!!!

So, I know I am a TERRIBLE blogger, sorry about that. Here's one of my very favorite pictures of Ava ever, it cracks me up- I found her like this when I went to go get her out of her crib in the morning. By the way, she had pants on, and her shirt was on correctly when I put her to bed, crazy kid.

We've been having a crazy time here in California, Ava has been growing and getting a little too smart, she has put me in several time outs and she also really likes to tell me "Just a minute" when I ask her to do something. Also, today she started saying "What?" with an attitude when I say her name to get her attention. Man, sometimes it is SO hard not to laugh at your kids, even when they're doing something bratty. I've been reading a LOT since we moved here, but we've also been making some new friends. It's been fun, but the weather is REALLY HOT!!! Anyway, that's what's going on around here, I do have some pictures from our last trip to Oregon, but I haven't put them on the computer yet, I'll get to it someday.

Update- FINALLY

So, here are some pictures from the 4th. We had a pretty nice day, although Ava is deciding that she wants to go through the "Terrible Two's" a little early. We went to a church breakfast in the morning, which was cool, we did some shopping, then we came home and hung out, then spent atleast 2 HOURS trying to get Ava down for a nap- she was NOT having it, little pill. So she skipped a nap that day, it was pretty dang awesome, oh wait, I mean not awesome at all!!! We went to In and Out Burger for dinner, we figured that was pretty American, since we weren't wanting to cook, it was yummy. That's where we took these pictures of Ava, the colors of the benches worked out pretty well with her little dress. She was running all around the place, but it was still fun. We didn't get to see any fireworks, since Ava skipped her nap we weren't really wanting to keep her up late and the shows didn't start until about 10:00.

So here are some pictures of our new apartment, ignore all the junk, we were still in the process of unpacking. Sorry, these were before we had all of our furniture in there, but you get the idea. We LOVE our apartment, it's pretty nice, plus it has air conditioning and a pool!!! YAY!!! So I'm sure you could guess, but above is our bathroom- it's HUGE!!!!
This is our kitchen, it's pretty big too.
This is the living room- check out the fire place- I love that. We probably won't ever have to use it, but it looks cool.
Here's the hallway.

So far we're liking California, but we are missing family. We got to stay in Oregon a couple of weeks before coming down, and it was SO nice to see everybody!! We love ya- and me and Ava will be back soon for a visit!!

WARNING: Bragging Post!!

Sorry- I know I suck at updating, but things have been CRAZY!!!! First things first- Blayne GRADUATED!!!!! We were in Oregon, and didn't go to his graduation but a friend let us know that he had received the Ernst & Young Award for Scholarship- which means that he was in the top 10% of his class at Ohio State, which is one of the top accounting programs in the country!!! He also has officially passed the entire CPA exam!!!!! He passed them all on the first try and in less than 4 months- which is freaking AMAZING!!!! He also scored well on all of them, because he's a dang genius and worked his butt off!!!

On another note, we are in Oregon, getting ready to leave on Monday to go to Sacramento- WEIRD!!! We're going to be grown ups- no more school- Blayne's going to have a real job, I can't imagine it- I'm just so relieved!!!! Our trip to Oregon has been chaotic. We've been trying to see everybody that we can and still spend a lot of time with our families, plus we've had to get a bunch of stuff for our new apartment because we weren't able to bring everything with us. I feel like we've been running around like chickens with our heads cut off and we haven't really had time to take a break. But we've had a lot of fun!!!! Ava has finally started getting used to everybody and now we're going to be leaving in a couple days, but now that we'll be living closer hopefully our visits won't be spread so far apart and she'll remember everybody next time. I think that's all for now, but I'll try to post again soon.
