Utah Visit... Only about a month late

Sorry, I just LOVE pictures, I'm not huge on writing, hope you all like it!!!
All the newest babies (Me & Ava, Amy & Dutch, Jenny & Adam)
Siblings decided to jump in- Jackson & Phoebe- and everybody wanted to go a little crazy, I think this picture is funny.
Just another cute one.
Man, my mom's talented. I can barely just hold Ava, she's so wiggly, but 2 babies, that's pretty awesome.
Pretty Girl!!! This was after her blessing, that was such a great day!!!
I think this one's ADORABLE!!! It looks like she's curtsying or something!! I LOVE IT!!!

Poor Ava was sick most of the trip, and she was a little fussy, so she had just been crying, which is why her eyes are all red. :(

How great that they're holding hands!!! I think they are just going to love this picture when they are older and great friends!!!

Valentines, Easter, and A Lot More...

Grandpa Lowary got her a special Valentine's Day outfit- I LOVE IT!!!
Every single time that we lay her down to change her pants, this is what she does- she just tries to crawl away.
I love when she plays good in her walker, she's not in it all that much because she LOVES her jumper so much, but she does pretty good in it for a couple minutes and then she starts to get a little fussy.
She LOVES her jumper SO much, she will play in it forever and love every minute of it, not so much at first, but now she does GREAT!!
Blayne's mom and I made Ava an Easter dress, it was my first time really sewing anything, so I think it turned out pretty good, it was a little big, but that just means she can wear it more, right?

This is the finished product, cute huh? This was us right before church, isn't she cute?!
We don't get pictures of all of us very much, and when we do, she's always dressed up and Blayne and I are always in sweats!!

We always put her on a blanket to play, does she ever stay there?? Of course NOT!!!! Hahaha, she always tries to go to the couch, or under the chair, anywhere that she's not suppoesd to be really.

BIG FAT CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!

Ok, so I know I said that we were moving to California and that Blayne was going to attend USC, but we got a WONDERFUL phone call this week and our plans changed drastically!!! Blayne got a call from Ohio State on Wednesday and they offered him an amazing fellowship. He is getting his entire tuition payed for, plus a little over $1,200.00 every month for living expenses, plus we get 85% off of the school health insurance, so for our whole family to be on it it's only like $70.00 a month. Isn't that incredible???!!! We are super excited to go, we'll be leaving in August, I think. Another exciting thing is that the cost of living isn't very much there, so we can get a pretty nice apartment, which will be great!!! It's still a REALLY good school and ranked in the top 10 for his program. Since they have called Blayne, he has already been contacted by a recruiter from KPMG (one of the Big 4 accounitng firms) and also by 2 LDS couples that are also going to be moving across the country to go there, and their wives had the same concerns about making friends as I did, so now hopefully we'll get together and hit it off, that makes me really happy because I was pretty nervous about that! Columbus, OH here we come!!!!

I also have to metion that Denise Watts had her baby, Alia, on Wednesday- she is BEAUTIFUL, she is just such a PERFECT little baby!!! I wish I had a picture to post, but I don't, I'm a dork and didn't bring my camera when I went to see her. I'm super excited for Denise, she's going to have so much fun!!!

I'll try to post more often, but for now that's it, it's been a pretty big week, but SUPER great!!!

More pictures of the baby!

Just hangin' out, readin' her book. Hahahaha.
She is ALWAYS trying to suck her thumb, we keep taking it out of her mouth, and now she just thinks it's funny and puts it right back in- little booger.
I just think this picture is really cute.
This was her very first time eating cereal- she LOVES it!

She really likes to grab her toes and play with them- it's like she thinks they're toys or something- she's just so dang funny!!

We are SO excited, I'm a little nervous just because I've never lived anywhere but here, but still excited!!! It will definitely be an adventure. I can't believe we're going to live in LA- it's just so cool- hahahaha!!!! Ok, so I'm a total dork, but I don't care!!!!!

Everything's GREAT!!

I LOVE this picture- she's got Grandpa Lowary's hat on, it just looks SO cute!
Just having some fun playing together.
This is Ava in the really cute outfit that Auntie Amy gave her, she's just loungin'

Yep, it's true- it was definitely snowing AND sticking here in Eugene, doesn't happen very often, but man, it's fun when it does. We decided to try to get some family pictures in the snow, but I look yuck in all of them, so I decided to post one where I was trying to look like a doof. Ok, about the picture above this one, of Ava in her crib. Parents who have ever let their babies sleep in bed with them know that it can be pretty difficult to get the baby to sleep in their cribs. Well, in our case not so much. We tried a couple times throughout the last couple of months and sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't and she would cry. I didn't feel like she was old enough to just let her cry and cry and cry forever- so I would take her out and hold her while she slept. Sounds bad, but it wasn't really, we didn't try all that much. Well, we tried again after her last Doctors appointment, at about 4 months, and it has pretty much been smooth sailing, I guess she was just ready. I know that everything that you read says not to have stuffed animals in the crib, or even to put blankets on the babies- but it works for us, and we check on her frequently. As long as we lay her on her side with her little pink elephant and a blanket she sleeps pretty good- plus we're lucky enough to have a baby that sleeps through the night- man, it's NICE!!! She's also starting to scoot herself around when she has tummy time- it's so much fun having a baby. We play with her a LOT and she does something brand new every single day! I didn't ever believe people when they said that, but it is SO true. Ok, onto some adult stuff...so, we're sitting around last night and Blayne checks his email, he starts reading it to us and it was a REALLY great email- he got into the Masters of Accounting program at USC (one of the top programs in the country) - how AWESOME is that???!!!! I mean seriously- it's USC!!! We are very excited!!! It's funny, about 6 months ago we were on such a different path, but this one seems to be working out much better for us, everything is just going SO well, and it's all just fitting together. We aren't sure whether or not we will be going to California, he was also accepted to Ohio State, which is also a really good program, they are both in the top 10 programs in the country!! It kind of just depends on how much we get offered in scholarships- we are very anxious to find out.
