She is ALWAYS trying to suck her thumb, we keep taking it out of her mouth, and now she just thinks it's funny and puts it right back in- little booger.

Just having some fun playing together. 
Yep, it's true- it was definitely snowing AND sticking here in Eugene, doesn't happen very often, but man, it's fun when it does. We decided to try to get some family pictures in the snow, but I look yuck in all of them, so I decided to post one where I was trying to look like a doof. Ok, about the picture above this one, of Ava in her crib. Parents who have ever let their babies sleep in bed with them know that it can be pretty difficult to get the baby to sleep in their cribs. Well, in our case not so much. We tried a couple times throughout the last couple of months and sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't and she would cry. I didn't feel like she was old enough to just let her cry and cry and cry forever- so I would take her out and hold her while she slept. Sounds bad, but it wasn't really, we didn't try all that much. Well, we tried again after her last Doctors appointment, at about 4 months, and it has pretty much been smooth sailing, I guess she was just ready. I know that everything that you read says not to have stuffed animals in the crib, or even to put blankets on the babies- but it works for us, and we check on her frequently. As long as we lay her on her side with her little pink elephant and a blanket she sleeps pretty good- plus we're lucky enough to have a baby that sleeps through the night- man, it's NICE!!! She's also starting to scoot herself around when she has tummy time- it's so much fun having a baby. We play with her a LOT and she does something brand new every single day! I didn't ever believe people when they said that, but it is SO true. Ok, onto some adult stuff...so, we're sitting around last night and Blayne checks his email, he starts reading it to us and it was a REALLY great email- he got into the Masters of Accounting program at USC (one of the top programs in the country) - how AWESOME is that???!!!! I mean seriously- it's USC!!! We are very excited!!! It's funny, about 6 months ago we were on such a different path, but this one seems to be working out much better for us, everything is just going SO well, and it's all just fitting together. We aren't sure whether or not we will be going to California, he was also accepted to Ohio State, which is also a really good program, they are both in the top 10 programs in the country!! It kind of just depends on how much we get offered in scholarships- we are very anxious to find out.
This was Christmas at Blayne's parent's house, I think that this was right before we ate dinner, it was yummy!!

I just really like this picture, it totally looks like she's posing, she loves that big pig, she wrestles with it all the time, it's like twice the size of her, but she still tries to eat it, it's really funny.
This is just mommy and baby, just ignore the triple chins, I tend to pull my head back sometimes, so I don't have too many pictures of us to choose from.
This was Ava in one of her Christmas dresses, this is the one that she wore to church, I loved it, she just so adorable. Sorry, I don't mean to brag, but come on, she totally is!!
