She was so relaxed the whole time, she totally fell asleep. She's pretty sweet.

Lydia's Blessing & Ava's Birthday!!

This is Ava and her very best friend Zeke. They LOVE each other and play SOOOO good together.

It was a pretty rockin party. Pizza and swimming- so fun!

Check out all of their hair- there is a chunk sticking up on ALL of them- it wasn't even planned, we didn't notice it until we were looking at the picture later!!! Hahahahaaha!!!

So, we blessed Lydia on Ava's actual birthday- Septemeber 5th. Blayne's parents were able to come, it was REALLY nice. Lydia looked SO sweet. I feel horrible because we were running late because we were trying to get there early and didn't get any pictures before, then it was nap time when church was over and the girls were cranky and Ava's hair was all messed up, so we don't have a lot of great pictures :(

Awwwwww, precious! She really is like the best baby, she's just mellow and really smiley. We LOVE her!

Ava opening some presents. I felt like such a HORRIBLE mom that day. I made her a lemon cake and idiot that I am- forgot to put eggs in it- GROSS!!! It was SO sad :(

So, about a week ago Ava drew this picture- it's totally a fish- and that was what she was meaning to draw. I seriously thought that Blayne drew it, but Ava did it ALL by herself!! Isn't it AWESOME??!!

Big Post

Before Lydia was born we had a tie-dying party and this was one of the results. I think Blayne's mom did this one, I really like it a lot!
Blayne's had the week off (it's been AMAZING!!!) and we've been going on walks sometimes in the morning, the weather has been GREAT!!!

Blayne took Ava to her first movie- Toy Story 3- she loved it!! I'm sad I didn't get to be there, but she's been LOVING her daddy time!

We went to Funderland and Ava was actually pretty brave, she really surprised us.

OK, she LOVED this ride!!! She rode it like 4 times, then the next day she rode it again a couple times, and talked about it nonstop!

Sorry, but crying babies are pretty cute!

We had a little photo shoot. I wanted to do it on a day when I actually did my hair, but since that like NEVER happens, we got ponytail hair, ugh.

Ava got to ride a pony, of course she loved it. His name was Rocky and she kept petting him saying "Hi Rocky", and when we were done "Thank you Rocky!"

Lydia gets in these really smiley moods and we were trying to catch her in a smile. This one's alright, but she has a much prettier smile. Ya get the idea though. I gotta say, I think my girls are pretty cute!!

So we've had a GREAT week, Ava has loved having Blayne home to play with and I have really enjoyed the help, and having another adult around in the evenings, rather than sitting home by myself. We've been watching movies and of course, Big Brother- LOVE IT!! We've been able to get out and do something fun every day, usually kid oriented, so it's been really fun watching Ava. Oh and my brilliant husband is now officially a licensed CPA- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Dreams

So, sometimes Ava has bad dreams and wakes up crying, it always makes me SO sad and I always wonder what she is dreaming about that makes her so upset :( Well, the other day she woke up cryng "Mommy, mommy!!", then came into my room and said in a VERY sad little voice "Daddy ate all my mac n cheese!!" Hahahaha!!! It's good to know that that's what her nightmares are about and nothing worse!

Silly Ava

So we've been trying to have Family Home Evening on Sunday nights, since Blayne's schedule has been so crazy and he doesn't usually get home before Ava goes to bed, and last night we talked a little bit about baptizm. We were telling Ava that when she turns 8 she'll be able to be baptized. She got really excited and started saying that she was going to "Splash with Jesus!" Hahahaha!!! She's so funny!!
